Transcultural encounters
What happens when cultures collide, come into conflict or fashion new relationships through encounter? The intention of this conference is to ask contributors to consider the experience of transcultural encounters in any period, space or cultural form.

Organized since 2000, every time in a different city, this year's WISPS (Women in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies) conference is to be held in Dublin. The programme will be opened by the Spanish artist María Cañas, who will discuss some of her recent work.

Encuentros transculturales
Celebrado cada año desde el 2000 en una ciudad diferente, este año Dublín tiene el honor de acoger el congreso organizado por WISPS (Women in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies). Bienvenida a cargo de la artista María Cañas, que presentará algunos de sus trabajos.
